Aussie Animals & Apathy

Digusting

Back to Australia. This is probably the most digusting site I have ever seen. I was at the cage, trying to scare the mother, but she couldn’t run away. No matter how she tried, she was stuck, and I was at the fence laughing my head off.

Reptiles & Amphibians

I have looked forward to seeing these for ages. The white lipped green tree frog. The best animals in the world. It is why my cousins and I were killing cane toads in Queensland. It was a lot of fun, smacking the Cane Toads in the head, then chucking them on the bon fire. Just to save that cool looking frog.

I have always liked snakes, but these two pythons I felt sorry for. They’d just grown fat, sitting in that bloody glass tank doing nothing. Animals like this should be out killing kangaroos and stuff, not just being fed bloody rats all day.

I am still sick of students asking me if there are crocs near my house in Sydney. Bloody idiots. It’s either crocs or kangaroos. But these Crocodiles are Freshwater ones, they’re the pansy crocodiles. It’s the Saltwater ones that are dangerous. To germans, who seem idiotic enough to come up to them to take photos.

Avis

I couldn’t get a good photo of this bird. I have seen them quite a few times (not in the wild). They’re not as big as I remember them. Stupid thing. It’s so bloody ugly.

That’s a cassowary. Again, not a good looking bird. Has that thing on its head. It’s feathers looks like a wig from a distance.

I have always liked pelicans, ever since the Stormboy Book. It was so funny how they portrayed the local aboriginal, fingerbone or whatever his name was. These things are massive though, you think they’re small. One of them walked right past me, and its head reached slightly below my chest.

I always like telling Europeans that our swans are black. There is nothing racist about that.

Stupid Mammals

I never get why Kangaroos sit like this (that’s actually a wallaby). It looks oddly simian.

This one looks like it’s stretching, but it was actually sitting like that the whole time. Wierd. This post sux ass, I am so bored.

  1. How could you just stand there and laugh at the poor mummy kangaroo… it was probably in a lot of pain with its baby stuck in her pouch! And you killed toads, that’s not very nice either =P
And speaking of kangaroos, a family member’s car recently got smashed by a kangaroo… car has to be written off, kangaroo jumped away unharmed lol

  2. HA! That’s why we should kill ALL animals.

    Fuck PETA!

  3. I hated storm boy

  4. Yeah, it was boring as shit. I remember it as the first time I had feelings of anger that weren’t directed at anyone or anything, just there, building, unreleased. I think that’s when I started turning into what I am today. Memorieeeeees…
